Nita Williamson grew up in Amata with her husband and she has three daughters, Suzanne, Brenda and Melinda who are all married with children.

Nita was employed in the past at Amata Anangu School and has been a member for Tjala Arts for many years. Nita has been creating Tjanpi artwork for over 2 years. As a family, Nita along with her daughter Suzanne and mother Ruby make unique Tjanpi sculptures together.
