Artist Biography

Janet Lane was born in Warburton Rangers and lives in Blackstone Community. Janet is the daughter of well-known fibre artist Elaine Lane and the niece of well-known artist Jimmy Donegan. Over the past year Janet has been focusing on fibre work and challenging herself to create new works that draw from the theme of endangered species.

This lovely basket has been finished with wipya- emu feathers.
