Nancy was born outside Patjarr in 1956, and later grew up at the Warburton mission where she married and had her children.

Nancy has been weaving for Tjanpi Desert Weavers for several years, and has attended several skills development workshops.  Nancy’s baskets are characterised by long, thick stitches using hand-dyed raffia. Piti-shaped and oval shapes are Nancy’s preferred form of basket.
