Debra is a young dynamic woman who recently got excited about tjanpi weaving at a workshop in Mimili , her local community. Debra is a deeply christian woman and sings hymns as she weaves. She is also the community Chairperson and holds a strong voice of advocacy for her community.

Debra was born in Alice Springs Hospital and has lived in Mimili all her life. Her husband is from Papunya and comes from a family of artists. She has five children and two grandchildren. She learns from other Tjanpi artists including her aunty Judy Martin.
