KURDINTHI
Tarntanya / Adelaide, South Australia
Over three days, KURDINTHI brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander weavers from across the country for a weekend of gathering, connection, cultural exchange, and conversation. The event will include a dedicated day for weavers and a series of public programs across Adelaide’s West End, including a symposium, interactive workshops, film screenings and exhibitions.
Tjanpi artists Sylvanna Kenny and Imuna Kenta have a jam-packed schedule planned, with the ladies set to attend the symposium program, offer a basket weaving workshop and give an introductory talk at a screening of Tjanpi animation Tangki!
You can also catch gorgeous Tjanpi artwork exhibiting by Mrs M. Heffernan and Dianne Golding - see details below.
Artwork by Mrs M. Heffernan on show and available for purchase at Gathering exhibition.
